JERJEF Homes Wins 2007 HBCA Builder of the Year.

MELBOURNE, FL – November 15, 2007, JERJEF Homes, Brevard’s premier home builder, was awarded the 2007 Builder of the Year by the Home Builders and Contractors Association of Brevard (HBCA).

The awards presentation, held at the Eau Gallie Yacht Club, is a crowning finale to the HBCA Fall Parade of Homes. The Parade of Homes is the most recognized marketing and awards event for builders, developers, suppliers and associates in the homebuilding industry nationwide.

This year’s competition featured 48 homes submitted by homebuilders in Brevard. JERJEF Homes was also awarded a Platinum Award in the $600,001 - $750,000 category for their Palazzo Del Vino Model in Tralee Bay at Capron Ridge near Viera.

“We are very pleased and honored to be selected Builder of the Year,” states Jerry Fleis, President of JERJEF Homes. “With so many cut backs to survive the market slowdown, quality craftsmanship and customer service are the two characteristics that have differentiated us and risen us to the top.”

The Palazzo Del Vino home (designed by The Evans Group) received the Merit Award for the Best Floor Plan. One of JERJEF’s subcontractors, LSP Nursery, received a Craftsmanship Award for Landscaping in the Palazzo Del Vino model.

In the $250,000 to $300,000 multi family category, JERJEF Homes was awarded the Platinum Award for their Tramore model at Ashford Harbour also in the Capron Ridge community. Entrée Vous, the Interior Designer in the Tramore model received a Merit Award as well as a Craftsmanship Award.

Capron Ridge was featured as the Parade of Homes Showcase Community for both the 2007 Spring Parade of Homes as well as the 2007 Fall Parade of Homes. This master-planned community, located off Viera Blvd., was recently recognized by Brevard County as an exceptional environmental community after deeding 22 acres of upland habitat to the County for the management of the increasing population of Scrub Jays, Gopher Tortoises, and other wildlife species that live in the community’s preserves.
